PERSONALITY
Leslie is, without a doubt, her mother's child. She takes after her in many ways, in her spunk, her outgoing nature, her expressive demeanor and her head strong personality. From childhood onward, she's always been the loudest, most excitable of her siblings, and at this stage of her life, her main focus is always to be having fun. She's always had a great sense of humor, with a bit of mischief in her, and her laughter is frequent and distinctive. She is very bubbly, generally talkative but also quite reckless. She's thankfully got an ounce of sensibility in her that's kept her from really doing anything too dangerous, but she doesn't often stop to think before she acts. She also has her mother's temper, and patience not being one of her virtues, it flares easily. It does tend to blow over pretty fast, and she's not a vindictive person, so she typically gets over it pretty fast. She's generally more prone to holding grudges toward people who have hurt the ones she cares about than toward people who've been mean to her. For all she's a person who generally thrives in social situations, however, she's not one to let people in easily. She has a very small inner circle of friends, mostly family she's grown up with, and she is fiercely loyal to them, and highly protective of them.
Although she's got nothing to say against her family life, and she would be hard pressed to change her kind of lifestyle, she hates the social circle she belongs to. She can't stand the hypocrisy of people who talk smoothly to your face and nastily behind your back, she hates being held to impossible standards because of her last name, and she's especially not a fan of the school she is made to attend, because no public school for an Aldridge. She's not exactly a very dedicated student as a starting point, so having to deal with strict rules and a demanding curriculum does nothing to make her happy. She's always been a very bright girl, but she doesn't tend to apply that brightness in an academic sense, and as such, she's not exactly viewed by the school as a great addition to their student body, especially with the constant comparison to her older sister. School is definitely the one place where she's the most prone to getting in trouble, either for talking back or not paying attention. She has a lot of energy to burn, and it's hard for her to focus in a stuffy learning environment. She does everything with passion and intensity, and sometimes it comes through as too much for the type of establishment she belongs to - as such, she's definitely got the record for detention in the family.
For all she sometimes can appear a bit irresponsible and lacking in seriousness, and she does have an edge of boy craziness to her, she's actually pretty picky when it comes to relationships, and she doesn't settle for just anybody. She's always got her guard up against guys who may be into her just because of her family name, who are generally pretty easy to spot as they seem to be more interested in impressing her grandfather or father than her. Of course, she's allowed herself to have fun once in a while, but considering how protective her dad is, she doesn't have the opportunity to do some aimless making out with a random cute guy.
LIKES AND DISLIKES
Leslie's favorite color is bright pink, and she's not a fan of olive green. She loves summer, and could do without winter. She's a cat person, and she hates spiders. She could eat chicken quesadillas any day of the week, and she craves pie most often, but she hardly ever touches broccoli, and dislike bananas. She's not a juice drinker, she much prefers soda. She loves to go shopping and sings all the time, but she doesn't enjoy studying. Her best subject in school is Speech, and her worst is Latin.
APPEARANCE
Leslie's looks are definitely an aspect to her popularity with boys. She's got great, lightly tanned skin, smooth brown hair, wide brown eyes and full, soft lips. She stands at an average height of 5'3" and has a slim build, but she definitely knows how to put her best features forward. She's the Aldridge kid that shares her mother's fashion sense the most, and although she tends to follow trends, she does have her own personal style - which, even if she doesn't like to admit it, involves a lot of her mother's collection. One of the thing she hates the most about her school is having to wear an uniform and look like everybody else.
FAMILY DYNAMICS
Leslie gets along best with William. His presence does tend to help her settle down a little, and she knows he doesn't ever judge her. She doesn't get along with Chace so well, they get into fights a lot, being so close in ages - one of the biggest cause for a fight being the fact that she's older than him although he claims she hardly acts it. She tends to clash with Mackenzie a lot too, mainly because she considers her older sister to be too serious and boring, whereas the older girl thinks of her as immature.
She is definitely her daddy's girl, and it has shown through ever since her childhood. She knows her dad has a hard time saying no to her, and she's been known to use it to her advantage. Her relationship with her mother, however, is not quite as good. Not strained exactly, but she's right about at the stage of her teenage years where she doesn't want to believe her mom is right about anything, and the most arguments she gets into are with Valerie - which isn't unexpected considering just how similar of tempers the two of them have.
