While Felicia would keep her word to Mackenzie and not bring up this conversation to Alyssa, she would definitely end up telling Nate about it when he got home and it would undoubtedly work itself into conversation with Valerie as well. If not just to give her best friend a head's up about the fact that she'd told her daughter that she'd told her about it. Though she was beginning to think that Alyssa probably needed some sort of wake up call about how much she was hurting Mackenzie by not just not forgiving her already. Nodding a little when the young girl went on to say that she doubted that Alyssa not having rights to be upset would phase her much, which was probably true. "Okay sweetie," she answered as she added that she should go get some studying done. "Have a good evening. And if you need to talk or not talk and just vent or whatever, you can always call." Though, she was hopeful that next time she heard from Mackenzie somehow she and Alyssa would have moved past all of this and then they could each be happier.

Mackenzie wasn't sure she would be taking up her Aunt's offer to call at any time, whether she needed to talk or vent or anything, but she definitely did appreciate her offering. It wasn't that she didn't have anyone to talk to, but there were times when talking to her mom just didn't entirely do it for her. Although she knew her mother loved her and was hurting alongside with her, it was a bit trickier for her to focus when she still had two kids living at home, including Leslie who wasn't exactly the easiest teenager to deal with. From Kenzie's understanding, her younger sister was already loudly and frequently complaining about her new school, so life at home surely wasn't all that peaceful, and the last thing she wanted was make her mom worry even more. Not that she wanted to make her Aunt worry either, but then again, she hadn't called with the intention of crying over the phone and talking about her fears when it came to this whole situation. "Thanks Aunt Felicia," she said with a small smile. "You have a good evening too, and say hi to Uncle Nate for me. Bye," she ended the call with a light sigh, putting her phone back down on her bed. Contemplating just going to bed for a few minutes, as she was actually feeling a bit sleepy, but soon deciding to do as she had said she would and grabbing some of her text books off her desk to start studying.
