PERSONALITY
Kevin is, and always has been, the definition of a nice kid. He's not excessively good, nor is he actually liked by everyone he's come across in his life, but he tends to get along well with people in general. He's not entirely extroverted exactly, but he's not a shy guy either. He's usually comfortable in crowd situations, and he's got no problem going up to strangers when the situation calls for it, but at the same time he doesn't need to find himself surrounded by large groups of people at all times. He tends to be a bit more on the quiet side, mainly because he's not a guy of many words, unless he's with people he's known pretty much his entire life. He does have a tight knit group of friends, which he's had since he was in high school, which is a good thing because with his current busy schedule, he doesn't have a whole lot of time for socializing, nor is he likely to any time soon.
He's very dedicated when it comes to his schooling, as he's always been, and especially since he figured out what he wanted to do with his life. He spends the greater majority of his time studying to makes sure he gets the good grades - although he's very smart, he's still not the most intelligent guy around, and as such he actually does have to work for the results he gets. Being lazy is not an option in med school, especially when it can put people's lives on the line, and although some of his classmates sometimes joke around a bit, he takes what he does very seriously. He's in this field because he wants to help people, but he's learned when he was still pre-med to build up a wall and keep himself guarded, because perfection doesn't exist and even the best doctors will have people die under their watch. He doesn't let that stop him though, because he still hopes he might be able to make a difference and save as many lives as what is realistically possible.
Having already gone through all of pre-med and now starting on his second year of med school, he doesn't really have time for relationships - or more like he doesn't make time for relationships. Although his parents have always been very loving toward one another, and he's had many great role models in terms of long lasting relationships, committing isn't something that's really all that easy for him. Besides, he figured that with the schooling he has left to do, which will only lead into the crazy life of internship and residency, to finally give way to the hectic schedule of a doctor, right now isn't really the right time to look for someone.
LIKES AND DISLIKES
Kevin's favorite color is green, and he's not a fan of purple. He loves summer, and could do without spring. He's a dog person, and he hates snakes. He could eat bagels any day of the week, and he craves sundaes most often, but he hardly ever eats mushrooms, and dislikes grapes. He's not a juice drinker, he much prefers pop. He loves to take pictures and use his computer, but dislikes being late. His best subject in school was Science, and his worst was History.
APPEARANCE
There's no denying that Kevin is a good looking guy. He keeps his brown hair cut short, and with his squared jaw, kissable full bottom lip, straight nose and shockingly light green eyes, most girls - and some guys - tend to take a second glance when he walks by. He stands at an average height of 5'10" and has a muscular built, which he keeps up by working out on a semi daily basis. He's more of a casual dresser than anything, and doesn't spend a whole lot of time figuring out what he wants to wear in the morning. Usually, a clean pair of jeans and simple t-shirt makes up for the most of his fashion sense.
FAMILY DYNAMICS
Although not specifically family oriented, Kevin gets along great with his family and tries to stay connected to them - which is why when applying for med school, he chose to go to a college that was a bit closer to home rather than heading off to the west coast or east cost. He hasn't lived as home since he started college, as St. Louis is still a few hours east of Kansas City, but he visits whenever he can. He's a bit closer to his dad than he is his mom, just because he finds it easier to connect and bond with another guy - and also because he always looked up to his father as a child - but he's still enjoys catching up with his mother whenever he's got a chance.
Being five years older than his brothers, he's never really developped an especially strong bond with either of them - especially seeing as, being twins, they've already got each other as best friends - but he's always been protective of them, and as a child especially always took his big brother role very seriously. As he got a bit older, he pulled back a little, not wanting to be bossy or overbearing either, but he still likes spending time with both of them and makes sure to keep up with them even when he's off at university.
