PERSONALITY
Alisha is much like her mother was at her own age, and in many aspects too. She's got the same very loud, very obnoxious personality, and when she enters a room, she makes it a priority for her presence to be known. Shy isn't a word she knows the meaning of, nor is quiet for that matter. She has a hard time keeping her mouth shut, and she has to make a conscious effort to do so even in class, because if she didn't she would probably get multiple detentions every single day for disrupting her teachers. It should come as no surprise that she's not exactly the most popular girl around, and she does tend to get into quite a lot of arguments on a daily basis. She has a short temper, and her fuse gets set off easily - and people who know her know not to be in the vicinity when she does blow up, because it's not pretty. Thankfully enough, although it doesn't take her much to get annoyed, upset or aggravated, it's a bit more rare for her to be full out angry.
She's not really one to be serious a lot, and school work has very little appeal to her. Of course, being at the Academy, she has to keep herself in check to at least keep her average in the 'meets expectations' zone, because the last thing she wants is to get kicked out. For one thing, that would mean being lesser than her sister in yet another aspect, and for another, it would also equal giving up the freedom she has by being away from home at a boarding school, which really was her main goal in applying at the Academy. There's no doubt she's very passionate about her dancing though, and she does have hopes of achieving a career as a professional dancer. Although she's got a strong, and not always appreciated or well liked, personality, there's a reason the friends she does make stick by her. She's very protective of the people she cares for, and she can be very fierce when people try to attack them. She's also got a great sense of humor, and a knack of making people laugh when she stops acting like she's gotta be on display and be noticed.
She has a lot of crushes, pretty much a different one on a weekly basis, although she's never actually dated anyone. She does tend to seem a bit intimidating to a lot of people, when they're not just plain annoyed by her, and as such, not a whole lot of guys approach her with the intention of asking her out. That doesn't go to say she has zero experience with boys, because if she's not often seeked out for dates, party scenes definitely help her get whatever make out buddy she wants, and honestly, for the time being, she's not interested in anything more than that anyway. She'd rather have fun than get tied down.
LIKES AND DISLIKES
Alisha's favorite color is bright pink, and she's not a fan of orange. She loves summer, and could do without winter. She's not an animal person, and she hates spiders. She could eat omelets any day of the week, and she craves dark chocolate most often, but she hardly ever eats shrimp, and dislikes kiwi. She's not a pop drinker, she much prefers chocolate milk. She loves to dance and shop, but dislikes school work. Her best subject in school is Languages, and her worst is Math.
APPEARANCE
With her perfect skin, warm brown eyes, small nose, full lips and thick curly brown hair, Alisha's got many reasons to be vain about her appearance - and she kind of is. Not too badly, she doesn't think of herself as better than anyone else because of her looks, and it's hard to figure herself the prettiest girl around having grown up with a sister as gorgeous as Aryana, but she's still pretty well confident that she looks great, and she loves it too. Standing fairly short at 5'2", she has a slim build but a decent amount of curves for her size, which she often does try to highlight through her clothing style. She does tend to go for very feminine clothes, and often tries to make herself look older through her fashion sense.
FAMILY DYNAMICS
As a young teenager, Alisha doesn't really want that much to do with her parents. She figures she's grown enough to handle herself and know what she can and can't do, and she's not exactly pleased when she doesn't get her way. Her mom does tend to be a lot stricter with her than her dad is, meaning her relationship with her is a bit more tense at this point, and can lead to quite a bit of fighting when she's back home. With her dad, things are a bit better, seeing as she's always been his little girl and more often than not has him wrapped around her little finger, which makes it hard for her to really fight is when he actually does go ahead and tell her no. She's learned by now that she can get a lot of things out of her dad, but once it's no, there's really no changing it.
With Aryana, it's definitely not any better. It does come mostly from her side, because there's no denying it - she's jealous of her older, prettier, smarter and more popular sister. As such, she doesn't really make much of an effort to get close to her, or to show any interest in anything she's doing or saying. She actually tends to affect boredom more than anything else when Aryana starts talking, because all she hears is 'blah blah blah I'm the best blah blah blah'. The age difference, of course, has never really helped them create a strong bond in the first place, but as they've both gotten older and Alisha's personality became more defined, things definitely took a turn more south.
