PREGNANCIES
Gabe wasn't as excited as Violet was to become a parent, but was still fairly happy. It just took him longer to consider himself bonded with the baby, although he did try to do his best to keep his wife happy and consider himself a father. He was a bit panicky as she went into labor, but managed not to freak out too much and as soon as his daughter was born, he definitely felt the bond that had been missing before. He was a bit lost as to how to help when she was suffering from mild postpartum, but tried to support her as best as possible and take care of Veronica.
Her second pregnancy was one that made him a bit on edge, although he tried not to show it. Still, most of the time he tiptoed around his wife, not wanting to do anything that would set off her mood swings, handling her getting annoyed much better than the guilt that always followed her snippiness. When she got put on bed rest he helped her as best as possible to stay entertained and help make sure Veronica was taken care of. Handling her labor a bit better that time around, though a little worried that she might get depressed again.
By her final pregnancy they each were a bit overwhelmed as he tried to help her out as much as possible with the kids and with getting everything done as well as juggling a full time shooting schedule on a tv set. He made sure to keep a stash of strawberry ice cream in the freezer at all times after only two nighttime runs to a grocery store. Glad when she went into labor and even more so when it turned out to be the quickest of them all with no complications.
