PREGNANCIES
Admittedly, Ian himself felt a little nervous while Evelynne was going through Emma's pregnancy, although they had planned it. He did his best not to think of it though, especially seeing how much more stressed Evie was than him, wanting to try and keep her calm as much as possible through her emotional outbursts. It didn't work too well, obviously, as she did end up on forced bed rest throughout the second half of the pregnancy because of her stress levels, at which point he did all he could to make things go as smoothly as possible for her, but still strictly enforced the bed rest. Definitely relieved once she gave birth a week and a half early.
With Derek, things were definitely a bit more smooth sailing. Evie was more calm, as he was, and although they had to take care of a baby while she was pregnant, things went fairly well. Not minding so much the minor mood swings that occured because they weren't quite as anxiety driven as the stress with Emma's pregnancy, and trying to do his best to accommodate her by not drinking coffee in her presence seeing as she craved it so much yet couldn't have it. When labor time came, he was a bit more in control of his emotions than the first time, and did his best to keep things comfortable for her as much as he could.
