PERSONALITY
In terms of personality, Veronica is pretty much a carbon copy of her mother. She's an extremely sweet and gentle person, she wouldn't hurt a fly and she's always putting other people's needs above her own, whether or not she's close to them. She's got a very giving heart and her biggest wish is to make as much of a positive difference in the world as she possible can, even if only by taking small steps at a time. She always makes sure to donate anything she won't need anymore, and whenever she goes out, she carries change for the sole purpose of giving it away to someone whom she deems might need it. She's as far from judgemental as a person could be, and she believes that everyone has some good in them, and everyone deserves a second chance, which she's always more than willing to give. She feels society is too harsh on people in general, and she tries to keep a more open mindset.
She isn't weak willed, but she is very shy, and as such she doesn't really stand up for herself much. Luckily, she hasn't really had any occasions where people have been mean or hurtful to her, as she's not been a target for bullying, but she does have a hard time saying no, and people can walk all over her. She is very focused on her studies and she spends a lot of time studying and perfecting her school work, although she doesn't strive for perfection. She hardly ever gets angry - if someone wrongs her, she's more likely to be disappointed and saddened than mad. She's very sensitive, and does happen to cry fairly easily, although she always makes an effort to hold it in as she doesn't like bringing other people's attention to her, regardless of the manner.
Being such a quiet, shy girl, relationships are a pretty foreign concept to her, much to her father's relief. She's not very good at approaching other people in general, and boys especially. She's had crushes during her high school years, of course, but she doesn't really pursue them, and isn't ever that comfortable when a guy approaches her, which often discourages them. She does wish she could find someone whom she could share a similar type of relationship as her parents have, but she figures she just has to be patient.
LIKES AND DISLIKES
Veronica's favorite color is lavender, and she's not a fan of grey. She loves spring, and could do without winter. She's a cat person, but hates spiders. She could eat bell peppers any day of the week, and she craves melon most often, but she never eats any meat, and dislikes yogurt. She's not a pop drinker, she much prefers water. She loves to read and spend time with her family, but dislikes confrontation. Her best subject in school is English Lit, and her worst is Gym.
APPEARANCE
Although Veronica's personality makes her sibling treat her as if she were the youngest one, she does have a mature look to her. She has her mother's hair, dark brown and falling down past her shoulder in curves, as well as her brown eyes. She and Rachel share many features, and looking at them, it's always pretty easy to tell that they are sisters. She is a bit taller than her kid sister, standing at 5'3", and she has a slim but curvy figure. She doesn't like spending a lot of money on her clothes, and she prefers going for things that are practical, but she is still very neat and careful about her appearance, not for vanity but just because she doesn't want to be seen as improper.
FAMILY DYNAMICS
Veronica is a very family oriented girl - all the people who've been around her her whole life are extremely important to her, and she would do anything for them. She has a very close relationship to both her mother and father, although she's more likely to confide in her mom than her dad, especially when it comes to having a crush on a boy, but she does feel like she can talk about pretty much anything with either of them. Her mother having stayed at home throughout her childhood, she's formed a very strong bond to her, and she couldn't ever imagine living anywhere where she wouldn't be able to see her every day. Her father was pretty much her knight in shining armor when she was little, and she still looks up to him and loves spending time with him, even though he spends most of that time trying to convince her that teenage boys are evil.
Both her siblings are very protective of her, although she is the oldest, but she also feels very protective of them and would do anything to keep them safe. She's close to both of them, although in a slightly different fashion - she's more likely to spend some time talking and catching up with Carter, seeing as Rachel can hardly stay in one spot long enough to let her know how things are going at school, and she misses both of them a lot when they go off to the Academy. It does sometimes pain her to see them have a go at each other so often, and she tries to get them to settle down a little bit and quit arguing and fighting so much, but for the time being, it's pretty much a lost cause.
