PERSONALITY
Todd has always been a bit more on the reserved side. He doesn't make new friends easily and he doesn't like group parties or situations. He'd much rather have a few close friends and hang out with them then go out to a new group situation. Despite that, he's a generally helpful person and cares deeply about those who he does consider to be close to him. Some people consider him to be a bit whiny though as he does tend to voice his negative opinions much more than his positive ones and tends to be a bit more on the pessimistic side.
Growing up in a house with music around all the time, it wasn't a wonder that he took to singing early on and for the longest time he thought that he would want to try and do it professionally. However, he changed his mind after seeing a documentary on speech pathology and decided that he'd much rather help other people be able to speak and sing again. Luckily, he's always done well in school and doesn't mind working hard, even if it is sometimes a bit more difficult for him to approach people for help with things that he doesn't understand.
He's had a bit of a hard time staying in a lasting relationship as he isn't the best at always giving his partners the attention that they deserve and sometimes gets too caught up in other things to remember to return a call, text, or instant message. However, since he started at the University of Kentucky he has been seeing a guy who is a fairly easy going and low maintenance and things are going well for them.
LIKES AND DISLIKES
Todd's favorite color is dark orange, and he's not a fan of violet. He loves winter, and could do without summer. He's a rat person, but hates dogs. He could eat toast any day of the week, and he craves chocolate chip cookies most often, but he never eats corn, and dislikes frosting. He's not a grape juice drinker, he much prefers root beer. He loves to sing and listen to music, but dislikes going to parties. His best subject in school is Science, and his worst is History.
APPEARANCE
It's clear that Todd takes his looks more from his father than his mother in most aspects. He'll sometimes like his brown hair grow out, especially during the middle of a school year but never allows it to get too long because he dislikes when it falls into his brown eyes. He doesn't like the feel of facial hair so he usually shaves it before it can even grow to a stubble. Even if he might look more like his father in features, his body type is very different. Standing at 6' he has a more muscular mass and does work out frequently. His clothing style tends to be more casual, with the majority of his wardrobe containing jeans and simple t-shirts and button downs that he can easily pair together.
FAMILY DYNAMICS
Since he's out of his teenage years now, during which things were a bit more strained because he just didn't want to be around, Todd can honestly say that he has a good relationship with his family with no exceptions. He gets along a bit more with his mother than he does his father, because despite the fact that she will sometimes be more protective than he'd like, he secretly enjoys how much she cares and just spending time with her. Largely due to the fact that when he was younger he had a preference toward his mom and would refuse to go to sleep until she sang him a song goodnight. He also gets along with his father though and does enjoy spending time with him, especially more now that he's getting older and they can talk more as equals.
He also has a newer respect for his sister now that he's getting older and they're past the times where they're at such drastically different life stages. True, she's still ahead of him and always will be, but he does feel more like he can talk to her now than he could have before and finds himself enjoying spending time with her more than he used to at holidays and during summer vacation.
