PERSONALITY
Lexie is a sweet, shy and rather quiet girl, who much prefers to stick to her comfort zone than try new things, as the unknown is often very intimidating to her. Gentle and soft spoken by nature, she tends to blend into a crowd rather easily, which is her favored way to exist anyhow - the idea of being the center of attention is, under any circumstance, mildly terrifying to her. If it wasn't for the fact that she has a twin brother, which for some reason tends to intrigue people, there would probably be a very small portion of the student population who even knows she's there. Although a lot of people tend to associate a subdued personality with academic abilities, she's not a very studious person. She relies on her brother a lot to keep herself up to date in classes, as she will often spend the majority of them daydreaming, doodling or just otherwise not paying attention. Being confined to an enclosed space for hours just takes its toll on her, and although she doesn't get physically fidgety, her mind certainly does get on edge. She's never really felt that a classroom was the best learning environment for her, but considering that she's almost done with her formative years of schooling, she doesn't have much else to do than suck it up and try to graduate.
She has been active since she was a child, but it's taken a few years to find the right way for her to appreciate sports, mostly because the go to for children who appreciate that kind of pastime involves team work, which involves a lot of other kids. The first sport she ended up falling in love with at the age of seven was skiing, which although it somewhat involved other people as she obviously didn't get private lessons, still allowed her to learn without having to interact with strangers too much. To this day, her favorite activities tend to be in the winter time - both alpine and cross country skiing, snowshoeing, snowboarding and ice skating - some of which are obviously easier to do than others, living in the city. Still, when spring comes around and the snow starts melting, she gladly trades her boots for sneakers. After her love of winter sports, running and jogging come up pretty near the top, and joining her school's track and cross country team was actually how she met the few girls who are now her closest friends. She does consider herself lucky, considering how reserved she is, to have found a group of friends whom she can share with and count on.
Dating isn't really on her radar just yet, mostly because talking to boys is right up there with her fear of talking in front of crowds. She has had plenty of crushes, and she is admittedly a bit of a romantic at heart - which certainly helps along the daydreaming she does in class when she's sitting behind a boy she likes. Still, she's in no rush to actually get involved with someone, feeling that she may not be emotionally mature enough yet to even be in a relationship and figuring that any guy who would be okay with that might not actually be good for her. For now, she's perfectly content building up perfect scenarios that will never happen in her mind, and when the time is right, she feels confident she'll be able to get out of her shell enough to maybe get better acquainted with a guy who might become a special part of her life.
LIKES AND DISLIKES
Lexie's favorite color is blue, and she's not a fan of magenta. She loves winter, and could do without fall. She's a dog person, but hates rodents. She could eat chicken burgers any day of the week, and she craves brownies most often, but she hardly ever eats bacon, and dislikes watermelon. She's not a pop drinker, she much prefers milk. She loves to ski and jog, but dislikes swimming. Her best subject in school is Science, and her worst is History.
APPEARANCE
Like her twin brother, Lexie still has a very youthful appearance that frequently makes people question whether she's in the right place as she passes them in the school hallways - which, it likely doesn't help that she also has a very small body frame and stands merely at 5'2. She's not plain looking, and there are definitely many who consider her to be very pretty, but there also doesn't have much to grab other people's attention, which she doesn't mind. Her eyes are by far her best feature, bright blue like her mother's, with thin lips and a pointed chin. Her light brown hair reaches her lower back in soft waves, and she usually doesn't bother with changing it up too much, liking the way it looks naturally. She doesn't wear make up, unless she's having a particularly bad skin day - which is thankfully not very frequent - and her fashion sense is pretty simple. She typically gravitates toward outfits that are more comfortable than stylish, favoring oversized sweaters to tight fitting tops. Unlike her brothers, she is very physically active and loves to get her heart pumping by any means possible, although her go tos are skiing in the winter and jogging as soon as there's no icy sidewalks.
FAMILY DYNAMICS
Of the three Stone children, Lexie is the one who tends to be a bit more reliant on her parents. She spent many years clinging to their side while out meeting new people, and even now that she's older, she still always feels instantly at ease being in their presence after going through an uncomfortable situation. She has always been a bit of a daddy's girl, too, and although they have very different personalities, they share a fair amount of interests. She already knows she will not be moving away from home when graduation time comes, especially seeing as she's uncertain she wants to go to college yet, but even then she would undoubtedly choose to stay local. Being around her parents do provide her with a bit of a safety net, as there's a strong sense of reassurance that comes from being home, loved and cared for. It tells her that they will always be there for her.
She cares a lot about Austin, even if they haven't been particularly close growing up, but for all his goofy ways, she knows he's dependable and always willing to lend a helping hand if she ever needed it. Although she doesn't subscribe to the idea that she needs to be protected just because she's the younger sibling, and the only sister - and admittedly unlikely to stand up for herself - she's never minded the idea that he would be there for her if she did need someone to defend her. Of course, that's a role Jason plays as well, and the bond she shares with him is a bit hard to describe at times. He's like an extension of herself, someone that she needs to keep close in her life lest she feel like something is missing. She confides everything in him and trusts him implicitly. There was a time when she felt a little scared she would be left behind, as in spite of his own introverted nature he has had an easier time expanding his social circle beyond what they've had since birth, but she knows he will always be her best friend, and she will always be there for him when he needs her.
