As much as she hated to admit it, Andrea knew Karen was right. No matter how much she held out right now, sooner or later, the information would make it to the younger girl. Granted, she could hope it would take long enough that by that point, it would be irrelevant, but odds weren't in her favor with how much of a blabber mouth Heather could be. Not that she figured her roommate would tell her little sister right away, because she knew what would be coming to her if she did, but she probably knew that if she waited until the right time, Andrea wouldn't be able to properly retaliate. Seeing as the impending conversation wasn't something she foresaw herself being in the mood for at any given time, in the near or far future, maybe getting it over with was the best possible scenario. Giving a slight huff of frustration as she ran her hand through her hair, her eyes narrowing a bit as she heard Heather try to muffle a snort. "Okay, fine," she gave up. "It was Zane. I had sex with Zane. Are you satisfied now?" she asked, half hoping the news in itself would be enough for Karen to go into gleeful shock and that she'd forget to nag.

Honestly, Karen probably wasn't going to spend that much more time on the issue right now. She had persistence, sure, but she preferred to spread the time over days and weeks than hours at a time. However, it seemed that her bothering - and probably her words - had paid off because soon after she'd finished speaking she'd heard the huff of frustration the older girl let out and she knew that she had her just where she wanted her, about ready to spill the beans and she was glad when the other girl did, telling her that it was Zane that she'd had sex with. "Shut up!" she exclaimed sitting up straight in glee and surprise. "The same one you were complaining about? 'Oh he's so rude. Oh he's so pretentious. Ugh, what an ass!' I didn't think you'd meant it like 'Ugh, what an ass." Even though her sister couldn't see the motion, she went ahead and waggled her eyebrows. "So how long have you been wanting to jump him huh? Did the two of you have a little bit of banter before hand? Were you even telling me the real story of what happened?"

The moment the words left Andrea's mouth, she regretted them and wished she could take them back. Especially as she heard Heather snort and then choke on the soda she'd just taken a drink of, only feeling partially bad for her roommate as she coughed for a few seconds, but that feeling going away as soon as she realized she was half coughing, half laughing. Throwing her a glare as she listened to Karen freak out in her ear, the sound of her voice making her want to cringe because she was way too excited about this. Seriously, didn't she have better things to do? "Karen, I swear to God, I will hang up on you," she warned her as she blabbered on about how she'd complained about Zane to her before, asking how long she'd been wanting to jump him and if they'd had a little bit of banter before having sex, which really shouldn't be something she should even want to know. "I told you what happened and that's the end of the story. Now you can either tell me what's been going on in your life, talk about whatever else you want, or this conversation is over," she told her younger sister.

Hearing this news made Karen understand exactly why Andrea had been so reluctant to share with her, but it also made her a touch offended too that she'd tried keeping something so juicy from her. The threat of being hung up on wasn't something that she registered instantly and even when she did she couldn't bring herself to care. The eye roll she gave Andrea was a tad obnoxious when she told her to change the subject or the conversation was over. "Uh, nothing has been going on in my life that's worth talking about," she answered, which was mostly true because things had been exactly the same since the last time that she'd talked to her. At least in terms of major essentials anyway. "So I'm staying on this subject. Tell me, did you play extra rough with him to make out the frustration that you'd already been having? Scratch harder than necessary just because you don't like him that much, maybe? Or was that all just heat of the moment passion stuff?" The risk of being hung up on on at this point was probably super high but that was life.

Andrea had no doubt that Karen would either not take her threat seriously, or simply not care about it, and as such she was pretty well ready to end the call. Holding out on it for a few seconds though as she figured she might as well give the younger girl the benefit of the doubt, seeing as she wouldn't actually mind catching up with her little sister if she stopped bugging her about this whole thing. As it was, her first guess had been right, and she gave a sigh and a shake of her head as Karen stated that she wanted to stay on this subject, claiming nothing had been going on in her life that was worth talking about. Rolling her eyes in response to the silly comments she made, throwing a cushion in Heather's general direction as the other girl gave a few more giggles, clearly having been able to make out some of the stuff Karen had just said. "Fine, bye Karen," she said simply as she pulled her phone away from her ear and press the end call button, tossing the phone aside on the couch and giving her roommate a warning look. "You be very careful what you decide to share," she told her as she had no doubt her sister would now turn to the other girl for information, sighing as Heather merely grinned in response and headed over to her bedroom. Well, at least now she might get some peace and quiet.
